Photoshoot with NY Fan
First promotional picture I shot for Electro/Pop artist NY Fanz. On a cloudy day we did this shoot. I had to experiment with Daylight and flash. Mostly Grey? The series was shot in mostly color.
Online Strategy
So my job function changed. After a freelance period in the big city of Amsterdam and a huge recession I started in 2009 as a Sr. Project Manager at Yourzine. Started with a fun client Hunter Douglas for whom I did the Luxaflex ‘Style Your Window’ campaign. Next step was my role as a Project Director. Leading 6 Project Managers helping them to manage multiple big clients and handling some off them like Albert Heijn, V&D, M&S Mode, ANWB, ASR myself. Its April 2011 and I changed my role within Yourzine (Lectric Group) again. Together with Michiel my boss and Cara my colleague at account management we allready have been architects of Contact Strategy for the Loyalty clients. Since April 1st 2011 I’m doing this oficially. Fairlight CMI iPhone/iPad app
26 years ago I started working. There was just one dream. Working in a big recording studio. I already listened tot records produced by Trevor Horn who produced artists using the Fairlight CMI system. A 100.000,- dollar big computer system. Examples were Propaganda, Frankie Goes to Hollywood and Art of Noise. After working a year at the Dutch Broadcasting Foundation learning sound-engineering I got the chance to work at the Wisseloord Studio’s. And there it was The Fairlight CMI. You can buy it now in the App store. All the sounds are there. Not that good and similar crappy user interface as the original, but… soooo cool for sound-engineers from the 80′s
Working for Yourzine
Since july 2007 I’m working @yourzine. Before that I was freelancing as a Senior Online projectmanager working for Amsterdam based add agencies like Tribal DDB, Agency.com, Ogilvy, Steam and Rotterdam based Design Agency Studio Dumbar.
At Yourzine I started as a Senior Project Manager on a Hunter Douglas project ‘Style Your Window’. Half a year later I changed my role to Project Director; managing six projectmanagers and all big clients like ANWB, Albert Heijn, V&D, Hema amongst others.
Working at Yourzine is great fun, never a dull moment and very dynamic.
Video shoot with Zoë
The weekend of the 15th I will create a video together with UK cellist Zoë Martlew. Two years ago Zoe send me an email. She was asked to be in the jury of aBBC programm Maestro and needed a Promo picture. Google helped out and she found me. Some years later we are still friends. THe video will be just for Youtube use and will be photographic, graphic, black and white.

EMU Drumulator
A 12bits drumcomputer made in 1983 with analogue filters…. The famous swing function which was later used by loads of hip-hop artists is there. Bought the machine last week from @auxmasterfader who works in the Massive Music studio in the basement. I allready used it in my set-up. Kicking!
